Sonia Rykiel + H&M = Magic!

Looks like yet another H&M collab is on the way! The amazing Sonia Rykiel will be teaming up with the company to create a line of beautiful items (including lingerie - HOT)! Here are some of the Rykiel (non-H&M collection) pieces that should tease us until December 5th, when the H&M collab arrives! (See this article for more info!)

Anthropologie collab! ahhhhh!!!!

The amazing Anthropologie has finally caved! Looks like this perfectly adorable and chic store will be joining the collaboration movement. Anthro will be joining forces with Brian Wolk and Claude Morais of Ruffian in order to churn out four splendid collections (clothes AND home goods!). These will appear in stores this November. More information is available in this article.

These are just some images from the regular Ruffian Spring 2010 ready-to-wear collection (and clearly an indication of the AMAZINGNESS that its collab with Anthro will bring). Images from style.com

"Whip"ping out the goods

I'm a BIG fan of the fashion Drew Barrymore (and Ellen Page, for that matter) is bringing to the table when it comes to promoting her directorial debut, "Whip It!" It's so unusual, yet SO wonderfully creative, that I just had to feature some her outfits.

Looks from the movie itself.

Can I have some Kane-dy?

Can we discuss how in love I am with the Christopher Kane for Topshop line? It's just oozing with prettiness (and sexiness) and I literally want everything (from the high high HIGH shorts to the shoes). I will say, it's not the cheapest designer collab around, but it's still sooooo hard to resist. I'm definitely freaking out about how off the freakin' chain the bodysuits are. They are BEYOND amazing -- they are the fiercest of the fierce. I'm literally salavating over here wanting to own one. I'm really thinking that this amazing collab is worth saving your pretty penny. Here are some of my favorite items:

Me likey - three of my fave items from various sales going on...

Jeffrey Campbell

Elizabeth and James

Felix Rey

Rachel Zoe clothing!

I was elated this morning to receive Rachel Zoe's daily "The Zoe Report" in my inbox detailing her upcoming Rachel Zoe for QVC line! I am a huge Rachel Zoe fan - love her show, love her style, love her word choices. I've been waiting for her to design clothing for the masses, and I think the QVC route is a great start. I was especially overjoyed this morning when I learned that you can, in fact, pre-order three pieces from this upcoming line. This is VERY good news! See one of these pre-order-available pieces below (which was featured in this morning's "Zoe Report" email) -- a gorge vest (with a cost that I think is very reasonable - $79.80) . BANANAS!

Lindsay Lohan + Emanuel Ungaro =

A daring move, but, in my opinion, a decision that will prove successful!

A taste of what Ungaro offers these days:

Me like-y

Sensational

I could see a 20-something-wild-gal-on-the-town sporting this:

crazy fun

I feel like I might have seen Ms. Lindsay wearing this (or something like it) -- or is it all in my head?

work it

Pieces such as this one make me understand why La Lohan would gravitate towards Ungaro:

Sparkly creature

(As a sidenote, am I the only one was was hoping that Lindsay would have been cast as Alice in the upcoming "Alice in Wonderland" remake? I feel like I'm alone in that thought.)

Lindsay Lohan as "artistic advisor" = newsworthy

It's Fashion's Night Out!

So, here are a few examples of amazing stuff going on!

Check out the AA happenings!

Promo code action at Tobi (one of my fave websites) for a chance to win a big cash gift card!

Neiman Marcus: The store is hosting insanely amazing events/activities in its stores. I checked out the list of festivities in its White Plains, NY store, and things like a Trish McEvoy presentation, sampling of "delicious treats" and various trunk shoes sounds too good to be true!

Tevas... with heels.... what???

Do you remember the days of Teva? When it was required to bring these water-proof shoes to summer camp, water-activity-based field trips, or just visits to the local pool? Do you remember how cool they were and how everyone had them? I loved my Tevas so much, and to be quite honest, I don't think they're THAT hideous! I actually think they have the total gladiator-inspired thing going on.

Anyway, I just read this article this morning, and I must say, I'm totally surprised! This is the last thing I expected in the fashion world. Teva, as a chic, avant garde, ultra-creative brand? Hmmmmm - interesting. Well, I'm definitely impressed. Based on the image below, I think I might even consider investing in a pair of Teva heels!

All jeans $39...

...@ Urban Outfitters - right now! Faves are below:

Jimmy Choo for H&M sneak peek!!!

Yes, I know, a one shoe sneak peek - but it'll do! FYI, this one will apparently go for $345 - yikes!

Jimmy Choo for H&M amazingness

Furla fantastic!

I just read an article (posted below) discussing Furla's collaboration with "up-and-coming fashion designers." The name of this collaboration is "Talent Hub," and it's absolutely amazing. This Fall's "capsule collection" was apparently inspired by "Alice in Wonderland" and features stunning artwork on handbags and more. Can you imagine walking down the city street, wearing all black, and carrying the umbrella below - it's like you're the blank canvas on which a painting is mounted. Chic as ever!
