Justin Timberlake + Target

Looks like Justin Timberlake is joining forces with Target. His line, William Rast (a "primarily denim" brand), will be putting out a collection that will hit Target stores December 19, 2010.

"The William Rast collection is primarily denim, so expect to see plenty of that, as well as a pleather jacket or two." Clothing prices will range from $15-$80. More information is available here.

I'm not crazy excited about this collaboration, but who knows - maybe it'll be a knockout!

Perfect Picks

There are some kick ass sales going on at Gilt Groupe today. Here are a few things that I LOVE:

I need this Tibi dress in my life more than you'll ever know. Is there anything WRONG with this dress? It just seems PERFECT! It's cute and intense and pretty all at once. Honestly, at $129 (from $298), I think it's definitely worth the investment:

This Noir necklace is SO friggin' cool. I could see myself wearing this with just a bathing suit at the beach, with a lightweight black dress at work, or with a black tank and ripped jeans. So Navajo-chic. I want it. (And it's SERIOUSLY marked down -- from $250 to $88.)

There's nothing to say. This blouse says it all. This blouse wins. Wearing this Behnaz Sarafpour blouse, you will get glances from everyone standing across the room. It is ENCHANTING, captivating. Although priced at $379, it was originally $955 and is truly worth every penny:

This oversized Diesel Black Gold top is like the most badass thing EVER. Your friends (and enemies) will want to hang with you more and strangers will want to drink whatever drink you're drinking. At $89 (originally $360), this is a STEAL:

If I were a wealthy beyotch, I'd own every garment ever made by Richard Chai. Every piece of his is PERFECTION. There is so much to mix and match and EVERYTHING is work-appropriate. This coat epitomizes his classic lines and materials. While this coat is $499, it's made of alpaca wool and was originally $2,350. I want it bad.

Saks Launches Plus-Size Department

I am happy to report that Saks Fifth Avenue "will become the first major US retailer to stock plus-sized clothing from all of its high fashion brands," according to this article. I honestly can't believe it's taken THIS long for such action; just because skinny minis strut down the runway in haute couture creations doesn't mean such clothing should only come in itty bitty sizes.

But back to the exciting news...

The "high fashion brands" supplying these plus-sized clothing items include "Alexander McQueen, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Oscar de la Renta, Valentino, and... Chanel." What does "plus-sized" mean, you ask? Well, it means "up to size 14, with some brands extending to size 20."

Definitely exciting news!

Super Savings!

Looks like shopbop has hung up some new items on its sale rack! I'm excited to see so many awesome accessories and killer clothing items in this reduced price section. All of the new additions are listed here, but I think the ones below are extra special (and especially well-priced):

I adoooooore this bag! Seriously! It's like a cousin of the fanny pack, but then so obviously not a fanny pack at the same time! This L.A.M.B. cross body bag is so perfect for everyday use. It's another one of those effortlessly chic pieces. Originally $125 and now $87.50, grab one of the two left before it disappears:

Scarves are a staple in any wardrobe (especially in the Fall and Winter months), and this one is effortlessly chic. This Juicy Couture scarf is the kind of accessory that makes other people BELIEVE in your stylish ability. It definitely has that instant-chic thing going on. Originally $58 and now $40.60, it's a great piece:

I am very much obsessed with these Madewell earrings. They are pretty darn special. Originally $45 and now $31.50, they'd be perfect for dressy or casual wear:

You are likely seeing a pattern! Yes, it is true - I'm a bit obsessed with fringed clothing, lately. In fact, I just purchased a fringed black sweater, but I'm somewhat disappointed that I hadn't seen this item, first (and I can't go overboard with the fringe purchases!) Anywhoo, this Blue Life shirt is amazing. It is so awesome and you can wear it to death throughout the remainder of the summer. Originally $80 and now $56, this piece will truly turn heads.

Made Her Think (super fun and original jewelry brand) rhinestone ring - originally $44 and now $30.80 (would be a perfect day-to-day ring):

Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent sandals (a FAVE brand of mine)- originally $220 and now $154:

Finally! Stripes reinvented. I've been getting a tad sick of the sailor stripe overdose going on in this city. Don't get me wrong, I ADORE sailor stripes, but I feel like some ladies are abusing the privilege of wearing them. So, I feel that this interesting play on the sailor stripe, this LNA reinvention of the horizontal striped garment, is quite perfect. Originally $99 and now $69.30, this is the perfect summer-to-fall piece:

Get Carried Away with Carré

There's some fabulous action going on over at the ideeli sale today! For all you members (and if you're not a member, have a friend who is a member invite you to join), the Betty Carré jewelry sale is really something special. Big BIG stone rings, earrings that look museum-worthy, delicate necklaces, and divine bangles - I dare say each and every item in this selection is worthy of a gal's attention. And as if these gems weren't special enough, turns out they are ALL under 60 bucks. Check out some of my favorites below (and see the entire collection over at ideeli.com).

Old Navy's Looking New

I am positively obsessed with some of Old Navy's newest arrivals. Beautiful, artsy scarves (that are perfect for a stroll down the hipster streets of Brooklyn), light- as-air blouses, embellished tops, and multi-zipper-decorated denim items; there really is so much to see! And at Old Navy's extremely affordable price point, I'm thinking this stuff is gonna go FAST.

Silk Shirt Heaven

I am 100% madly in love with the splendidly silky and chiffon-y shirts by the brand Equipment. In fact, Equipment is slowly becoming one of my absolute favorite labels. I wish I could afford to own each and every one of its shirts, because I most certainly would! As featured at shopbop.com, please view some of my absolute favorites below.

Cynthia Rowley + Pampers Collab = Hmmmm...Interesting...

According to this article, "Pampers and Cynthia Rowley recently announced a collaboration that's scheduled to hit Target in mid-July of this year." I don't know how I feel about this. Designer diapers? Are newborns the new hot objects walking (well, crawling) down the runway? Or maybe it's just "cute" and I shouldn't be taking it too seriously. Either way, I'm sure these diapers are quit pur-dy!
